Applying for Humanitarian and Compassionate considerations

Description

The Canadian immigration system leaves many vulnerable migrants without access to permanent residence because they don’t meet the criteria of regular programs. For people in this situation, an application for Humanitarian and Compassionate (H&C) considerations may be the best option.

This webinar will focus on:

  • Why: the circumstances in which one applies for H&C
  • How: suggestions for making strong H&C submissions
  • What: the process to follow when applying for H&C

In this 90-minute webinar presenters Francisco Rico-Martinez and Jean Lash will provide practical information to guide front-line workers on when and how to apply for an H&C. The presentation will be followed by a 20-minute question-and-answer session during which participants can have their questions answered by the presenter.

Cette session aura lieu en anglais. La version française aura lieu le 16 mai à 14h. Cliquez ici pour plus de renseignements.
