The Fall Consultation will take place at the hotel Marriott Chateau Champlain in Montreal (address: 1050 de la Gauchetière West).


Participants must make their own reservations.

A block of rooms has been set aside for CCR Consultation participants at the Hotel Marriott Chateau Champlain.

Single or double rooms (1 or 2 queen-sized beds): $169/night plus taxes

To reserve rooms at negotiated rates, book your room as soon as possible and by Sunday 11 November 2018. Quoted rates and room availability cannot be guaranteed after this date.

Participants can reserve their rooms by phone at (514) 878-9000 or toll-free at 1-800-200-5909. When making a reservation, say you are with the Canadian Council for Refugees conference to receive the quoted rate.

For billeting possibilities, email by Friday 2 November 2018. A member of the local committee will try to meet your request.

Getting There

From Montreal Trudeau International Airport:

A taxi costs approximately $40 from the airport to the hotel.

Public transit from airport:

Take the 747 bus shuttle ($10 one way) and get off at the René Levesque/Drummond stop, then walk 5 minutes to the hotel.

From the VIA rail station:

The hotel is a five minute walk from the main train station in downtown Montreal via underground pedestrian walkway.

From the bus terminal:

Take the metro orange line from Berri-UQAM to Bonaventure. The hotel is a one minute indoor walk from the metro station.

Meals are not included in the Consultation registration fees.

The Consultation participant’s kit will include a list of nearby, affordable places for meals during breaks.

Display Tables

Tables are available for groups to display brochures, etc. Reserve a table on your registration form. Include the reservation fee with your registration.

During the Consultation we may be able to provide childcare services for participants, but only for those who have signed up for this service by 2 November 2018. Email and indicate your childcare needs on your consultation registration. Children must be at least 19 months and toilet-trained.
