Empowering Voices: Advocating for Migrant Justice and Reforming the systems
The National Migrant Workers Forum is a crucial event focused on addressing the challenges faced by migrant workers subjected to illegal recruitment practices. This year, our discussions will center on understanding the unscrupulous recruitment strategies that exploit vulnerable workers, as well as identifying effective remedies and advocacy strategies to combat these issues.
Gathering a diverse group of stakeholders, including migrant workers, activists, and frontline workers, the forum aims to create a collaborative space for sharing insights and experiences. Together, we will explore potential solutions and develop key messages to support ongoing advocacy efforts. By fostering dialogue and collaboration, we strive to empower participants to navigate these complex challenges and advocate for the rights and dignity of migrant workers. Join us in shaping a future where exploitation is addressed, and equitable practices are prioritized.
The Forum takes place before the CCR 2024 Consultation for people interested in participating in both.
