Assisted Voluntary Returns (AVR)
An overview of the AVR program including objectives, program criteria and process, how to apply, application timelines, eligibility criteria and relationship with the service partner.
Presenter: Leah Johnston, B.A. Commerce from University of Ottawa. Since 2002, in various positions with the Federal Public Service. For over 5 years she has been with the Canada Border Services Agency working on inland enforcement with focus on refugee reform. She is currently the Program Manager for the Assisted Voluntary Returns and Reintegration pilot program.

Information Requests Workshop on requesting information from Government Agencies, with special focus on obtaining information related to refugee claims, immigrants and visitors.
Presenter: Alastair Clarke practices immigration and refugee law at a legal aid clinic in west Toronto, Unison HCS. He regularly appears at the Immigration and Refugee Board and at other administrative tribunals.
