Whereas
- The current military occupation in the West Bank and Gaza Strip violates a plethora of international human rights conventions which Canada has ratified.
- Palestinians living under military occupation in the West Bank and Gaza Strip are facing a humanitarian disaster.
Therefore be it resolved
That the CCR call on the Canadian government to immediately place a moratorium on deportations to The Palestinian occupied territories, in recognition of the ongoing military occupation and the risk to the life, liberty and security of those living under it.
