The Proud to Protect Refugees campaign aims to change the conversation about refugees in Canada. The toolkits below are collections of information, activity ideas and resources to use when talking to specific community groups about the realities that refugees face and what we want for refugees in Canada.
With these suggestions, we encourage you to think about how Canada, as a nation has historically welcomed refugees and how to continue this proud distinction in the face of negative talk about refugees in Canada. How can Canada once again adopt traditions of welcoming refugees? What can you do to make a difference?
