Mark your calendars! We will be holding our Fall 2022 Consultation in person in Toronto, on the theme Towards equity and anti-racism in Canada's immigration system!

This consultation will address key challenges in our refugee and immigration system. Participants will learn, brainstorm, hear from and give input to government officials and share resources and strategies to respond to these issues in a series of workshops, caucuses, and meetings.

The 3-day event will take place at the Marriott Courtyard Toronto Downtown, 475 Yonge St, and consist of:

  • 15 workshops
  • 3 plenaries
  • 1 social event.

Simultaneous translation between French and English will be offered during the workshops and plenaries.

    • From the third participant registered: $130 per participant
    • One-day registration: $75 per participant
  • Non-member NGO:
    • First two participants registered: $200 per participant
    • From the third participant registered: $170 per participant
    • One-day registration: $100 per participant
  • Government or Intergovernmental organizations:
    • Full registration: $295 per participant
    • One-day registration: $150 per participant
  • Other organizations, individuals and general public:
    • Full registration: $220 per participant
    • One-day registration: $150 per participant
  • Low-income* registration:
    • Full registration: $80 per participant
    • One-day registration: $40 per participant
  • Indigenous Representatives and Refugees**:
    • FREE
  • Students (younger than 25 years old):
    • Full registration: $40

**Refugees (including Newcomer Youth younger than 25 years old) who have arrived in Canada within the last five years and who are without an organization that could pay their registration fee can register free of charge. Please note: no organization should be prevented from participating due to fees. Please email us at consultation@ccrweb.ca to discuss a reduction, group rates or any other questions regarding registration.

  • Amina Malko Fund for Refugee Participation: CCR member organizations who know of refugees (either working for or associated with your organization) can support them to apply to the Fund. Look for the email sent or email us at refpart@ccrweb.ca -- Deadline for applications Friday, October 14.
  • Simultaneous translation will be available between English and French in all sessions.
