The federal government won't be renewing funding to a national network of researchers, casting doubt on the future of a major source of data and information for immigration policy in Canada. While that has alarmed some of the re-searchers, the man in charge of the Metropolis Project says he's optimistic part of it will find a new home at an Ottawa university.
