1 fév 2012 John Taona* was married with a young daughter and twins on the way when he was murdered in Zimbabwe almost 20 years ago. He had been waiting for a friend outside a strip mall when a group of men attacked him. His killers were never found, and their motive was a mystery — in a country rife with political violence, Taona had never been involved politically. His widow remained in the country to raise their children. But when the kids were teenagers, the family began receiving threats by men who claimed to be her husband’s killers.
