Single fare TTC tickets can be purchased at Toronto Pearson Airport. Details and locations for this can be found here.

*Note: not all subway stations have collector booths or vending machines to purchase TTC tickets, tokens and passes. This includes subway stations: Highway 407, Pioneer Village, York University (these are the subway stations that participants will use if they’re staying nearby to York). If choosing to travel by TTC from the airport, please buy your single fare TTC ticket(s) at the Airport or ensure you have exact change in cash prior to boarding a TTC bus.

Tickets, tokens and passes can also be purchased at York University, at the Shoppers Drug Mart in York Lanes.

Purchasing a PRESTO card for public transit:

A PRESTO card can be used instead of tickets, tokens, cash and passes. All TTC subway stations, TTC buses, Go Transit Buses and the Union-Pearson (UP) Express take PRESTO. Your PRESTO card can be purchased for $6 at the UP Express Customer Service in Terminal 1 at Pearson International Airport. Once purchased, a customer service representative can help you load funds onto your card for immediate use. For more information on purchasing a PRESTO card from the UP Express Station at the airport, click here.

Alternatively, you can purchase a PRESTO card at Union Station (downtown Toronto) at the Customer Service counter, or from a PRESTO Vending Machine at select subway stations, including Highway 407 subway station, Pioneer Village subway station and York University subway station.
