Getting to the International Conference (York University - Keele campus, Toronto)
There are several transportation options to get to York University (Keele Campus - 4700 Keele Street), Toronto.
From Toronto Pearson International Airport:

Using the TTC (Toronto transit system):
For information on riding the TTC, including fare information, such as prices, where and how to purchase tickets, tokens and day/weekly passes, fare seller locations, transfers and using a PRESTO card on the TTC, click here.
Single fare TTC tickets can be purchased at Toronto Pearson Airport. Details and locations for this can be found here.
*Note: not all subway stations have collector booths or vending machines to purchase TTC tickets, tokens and passes. This includes subway stations: Highway 407, Pioneer Village, York University (these are the subway stations that participants will use if they’re staying nearby to York). If choosing to travel by TTC from the airport, please buy your single fare TTC ticket(s) at the Airport or ensure you have exact change in cash prior to boarding a TTC bus.
Tickets, tokens and passes can also be purchased at York University, at the Shoppers Drug Mart in York Lanes.

Purchasing a PRESTO card for public transit:
A PRESTO card can be used instead of tickets, tokens, cash and passes. All TTC subway stations, TTC buses, Go Transit Buses and the Union-Pearson (UP) Express take PRESTO. Your PRESTO card can be purchased for $6 at the UP Express Customer Service in Terminal 1 at Pearson International Airport. Once purchased, a customer service representative can help you load funds onto your card for immediate use. Alternatively, you can purchase a PRESTO card at Union Station (downtown Toronto) at the Customer Service counter, or from a PRESTO Vending Machine at select subway stations, including Highway 407 subway station, Pioneer Village subway station and York University subway station. You can also purchase a PRESTO card at York University, at the Shoppers Drug Mart in York Lanes.

By car - parking options:
We strongly encourage International Conference partcipants to use public transit options when travelling to and from York University. There may be delays in entering campus by car due to rotating strike pickets. If you need parking, here are some options close to the conference sites:
Student Services Parking Garage (building #84 on the campus map) and
York Lanes Parking Garage (building # 72 on the campus map)
Cost (maximum): $2.50/half-hour ($20.00 max), Lost Ticket $20.00
Weekday Evenings: $2.50/half-hour ($8.00 max after 6:00 p.m.)
Saturday: $7.00 flat rate
There is also a parking lot at Vanier College (#71 on the campus map) close to the Winters Dining Hall.
Cost (maximum): $1.75/half-hour ($15.00 max)
Saturday: $7.00 flat rate

We aim to make the International Conference as accessible and accommodating as possible. Unless otherwise noted, International Conference spaces are wheelchair accessible through automated doors and elevators.

Some conference sessions will be in Curtis Lecture Hall, a building about ten minutes walk from the other conference buildings. If you have mobility issues and would like to be shuttled to and from this building, please contact Marisa at marisa@ccrweb.ca.
Conference kit pick-up
All International Conference participants are asked to collect their conference kit and name tag at the Conference welcome desk on arrival at York University.
The conference welcome table will be located inside the front entrance of Accolade East building (ACE, #92 on campus map)
Accolade East is on your left as you exit the subway.
Whenever possible, we ask participants to collect conference kits and name tags on Wednesday 6 June, 5-8 pm. The welcome table will be open on Thursday 7 June at 7:30 am.
Please arrive early enough that you have time to collect your conference kit and name tag.
